This product is junk! It took almost 2 weeks to receive it in the mail and then they mailed it without and bait! I called and they sent another set, which had everything and took a week to get to me this time. I have two hanging in the yard and different ends and each one had "1" Fly in it after hanging for two weeks! Don't waste your money!!!!

I have a mouse problem. I've caught 3 so far and just when I think they're gone, I have another. They wont eat poison and they step around the glue traps. My exterminator recommended getting these type of traps, but I regret going with the Black and Decker. For the first week, the droppings disappeared and I saw or heard, no evidence of mice.We went away the next week and I returned home to my house seemingly pest free. Week 3 I found a dropping, and assumed it was one I had missed cleaning before. Then I heard running in my ceiling!! I never heard this before so I assume they're traveling a different route to avoid the noise this machine emits. I'm going to try a different brand and hope for the best, because Iv'e seriously contemplated moving. Ugh!

Seems to work but support is not so good : Black & Decker EP1100-A Ultrasonic Pest Repeller, Black

I bought one of these for my garage to keep the mice out in the winter. The loud setting was loud and could be heard clearly a short distance from the garage. It was tolerable though and I never had a complaint from a neighbor. After the winter, I did find some evidence of mice but I have no way of knowing how long it had been there.

One day, a month or so outside of the one year warranty, the unit went silent. I called the support line for B & D, which is also a support line for what seems like half a million other appliances, and was told that it was out of warranty and "nonrepairable", but they would be happy to sell me another at retail price. Since the unit was now worthless, I decided to open it up and see what was inside. I drilled out the rivets (no screws) to get inside and found the inexpensive piezo speaker had stopped working. If I pressed on the cone, it would sound normally. B & D support would not (or could not) sell me with a replacement speaker nor would they give me the spec that would help me find a replacement. In short, if it's out of warranty, we ain't helping you.

The next one I buy will not be a Black and Decker.

This aerosol is the first to do as it claims.

Having had to share my homes with black widows and brown recluses from California to North Carolina, I was frustrated with sprays which had as much effect on spiders as rain has on a frog. The arachnids would shake it off and walk on.
NOT SO HERE! They are stopped dead in their track, literally.
Perhaps the focus jet with the plastic straw also helps but the product is very efficient.

One small (minor) drawback, if you have a colored garage floor, the spray will leave a white mark but it will clean up with a hose and detergent.

I can live with a few stains on the floor, but not with spiders in my garden shoes.

Killed the Stink Bugs! Was uncomfortable with the safety warnings. : Bifen XTS 25.1% Bifenthrin Oil Base Multi Use Pest Control Insecticide Concentrate 32 oz quart 753985

I bought this product in an effort to reduce the Stink Bug population that has invaded our house. Other insecticides we tried either didn't work at all, took too long to work or knocked the bugs down but didn't actually kill them (after a brief period on their backs, they would "wake up" and be as good as new!). I mixed up the Bifen to a 7% concentration and sprayed it on the outside siding where literally thousands of the bugs landed every day to soak up the Sun and mate. Within 20 minutes the bugs were dead on the ground and the siding stayed mostly clear of new bugs (maybe a dozen a day showed up) for 5 days. It seems that there are some variations with Stink Bug's so I can't promise you the same results I got, but it worked for me.

The safety warnings got me very concerned. This product is designed for professionals, not homeowners like me and the warnings reflect this. I followed the precautions, with long sleeves, gloves, safety glasses and a respirator. Spraying it on with a pump up sprayer, I tried hard to eliminate overspray and use as little as possible to cover the area. I stayed away from windows and doors to keep it out of the house. When I was done, my clothes and safety glasses got washed immediately and the gloves and respirator were thrown away. The sprayer was washed with soap and water, then labeled as having been used with Bifen. I generally don't like stuff this strong, but was desperate to get rid of the bugs. It worked, but I think in the future I'll call my local exterminator to apply the product.
